Already the second time, Bethany Li invited me to her class of Introduction to Global and Cultural Perspectives at The University of Alabama as a guest speaker.
I had the pleasure to speak about my „home country of heart“ Mexico, and in the second part, I developed a little intercultural training by talking about some cultural challenges between the Mexican and the US culture.
I always appreciate speaking with students. They are listening, asking, and curious about what is out there in the world.
Further, they are the managers of tomorrow, and hopefully, with their intercultural understanding, they are creating successful global teams.
All school & universities should norture intercultural understanding
I hope all schools and universities force more intercultural understanding and training as an essential part of their schedule. I am looking forward to working together more with students in the future.
